COVID-19 information

Being safe together at camp.

Just one year ago we agreed as a team to hold TOGETHER´23 in 2G format (vaccinated or recovered). Today, we assess the situation somewhat differently and are of the opinion to ensure with other adjusting screws that the upcoming national camp is held as safely as possible.

After a risk assessment, we – the project management and the core team – have decided to rely on a comprehensive testing obligation before arrival at the camp. This means: we are not planning the national camp in a 2G format as previously announced. We still recommend vaccination for all participants, leaders and staff. However, we believe that testing prior to arrival at the camp is the most effective way to ensure a safe camp experience.

The execution of the tests and the control is the responsibility of the groups and the respective staff members. More information will follow in time before the camp.

Of course, we will adhere to all legal regulations in force at the time of the camp.

Concrete measures, which from today’s point of view can also be stricter than the valid measures – especially the handling of cases of illness at the camp – we have defined in a prevention concept.

Regardless of the other cancellation rules: Should the entire camp be cancelled by the organizer, the Upper Austrian Scouts, for reasons of Corona, we will return the full camp fee to you.

We are looking forward to a safe camp with you!
